Tori Spelling Postpones 90s Party Due to Illness
Tori Spelling has delayed her upcoming “90s After Dark Party” due to an unforeseen illness.
“Hello everyone. This is difficult to share, but I need to be honest with you,” Spelling, 52, wrote on Instagram Saturday, December 27. “I’m unwell and must postpone our ‘After Dark’ event this Sunday night in Las Vegas. I’ve been eagerly anticipating seeing you, and it truly saddens me to put a pause on something I was so excited for.”
Spelling, who did not reveal her diagnosis, was scheduled to host “90s After Dark” at Voltaire Las Vegas alongside her former Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Brian Austin Green.
“Right now, I need to prioritize listening to my body and focusing on my health,” Spelling concluded on Saturday. “Thank you for consistently showing me so much love and understanding. A new date is coming very soon — and I can’t wait to see you ‘After Dark’ soon.”
Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green Attribute ‘90210’ Estrangement to Past Relationships
The Sin City event was promoted as a “post-concert celebration” hosted by Spelling and Green, 52.
“Voltaire is embracing a retro vibe and welcomes acclaimed television personalities Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling to host the ultimate ‘90s After Dark Party,” a website description read. “On December 28, for one night only, fans are invited to a post-concert party and be transported back to the 1990s.”
The gathering was also planned to feature a DJ playing “the biggest hits from the ‘90s” and a live performance from the R&B group Color Me Badd.
“Guests can anticipate an atmosphere filled with high-energy nostalgia, surprise moments and the kind of lively party atmosphere Voltaire is known for,” the online explanation noted.
Spelling and Green famously portrayed romantic interests David and Donna on Beverly Hills, 90210, even briefly dating in real life. The pair, however, ultimately drifted apart two decades after the show’s 2000 finale.

“It felt like, ‘She simply doesn’t want to be my friend,’” Green recalled on an August 2024 episode of his “Oldish” podcast. “I genuinely felt that way. I tried to visit you and I would call you. When that wasn’t returned, I gave up. I didn’t know what was happening in your life.”
Green and Spelling also both pointed to their respective romantic partnerships as the reason for the distance.
“I continued to reach out,” Green asserted. “I had accepted that wasn’t a healthy relationship, but you are my sister so there is no ending that.”
In addition to maintaining her friendship and managing her daily life as a mother of five, Spelling has been pursuing new business ventures.
“There’s more than hope. Where there’s a will, there’s a T,” Spelling exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month, hinting at a return to reality television. “Yes, in 2026, it’s happening. One [show] is more of a structured format and one is not.”
Without providing further details, the actress confirmed that she “developed” one of the new series’ concepts.
Spelling and her now-ex-husband Dean McDermott, who finalized their divorce earlier this year, previously documented their marriage on Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood and True Tori.
