On April 8, 2025, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) was summoned after three individuals fled the scene of a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident. An LAPD statement indicated that the CHP sought additional assistance near Lauren’s residence. When law enforcement personnel arrived, they observed Lauren in an adjacent yard, equipped with a handgun. She was reportedly instructed to surrender her firearm but allegedly did not comply.
Lauren sustained a gunshot wound and later received medical attention for an injury described as “non-life-threatening” at a nearby medical facility.
