White House TikTok Troll Taylor Swift With Her Own Song And Claims Victory
The internet is buzzing because the White House utilized a popular Taylor Swift song on TikTok, even though President Donald Trump and the pop sensation have an ongoing public disagreement.
The official White House TikTok account shared a video on Monday, November 3, featuring President Trump, 79, and his team, primarily set to Swift’s chart-topping track “The Fate of Ophelia.”
"OUR VIBES 🇺🇸," declared the caption accompanying the 22-second video, which presented a collection of photographs aligned with Swift’s song words.
In the popular song, Swift, 35, croons, “Keep it one hundred on the land, thе sea, the sky / Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes.” She continues, “Don’t care where the hell you’ve been ’cause now you’re mine / It’s ’bout to be the sleepless night you’ve been dreaming of.”

Following the online circulation of the video — which showcased images of Vice President JD Vance and First Lady Melania Trump — the White House issued an official announcement.
A White House official informed Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 4, the 35th day of the current government shutdown, “We created this video because we anticipated that sensationalist media outlets would eagerly publicize it.” The official added, “Congratulations, you were fooled.”
In August, the president commented on the announcement that Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had become engaged after two years together.
“I wish them much success,” the president stated when a reporter requested his opinion on the news, according to video provided by CSPAN. He continued, “Indeed, I believe he’s an excellent athlete. I think he’s a fine individual. And I consider her a wonderful person, so I extend my best wishes to them both.”

Despite Donald’s complimentary remarks regarding the couple’s engagement, he has openly disparaged Swift multiple times, even once proclaiming his aversion to the vocalist.
After Swift publicly supported Donald’s opponent in the 2024 presidential election, then-Vice President Kamala Harris, the ex-Celebrity Apprentice host launched an online assault on the Grammy recipient, declaring “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on Truth Social.
In May, Donald again directed disparaging comments towards Swift, penning, “Has anyone observed that, ever since I stated ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she is no longer considered ‘HOT’?”
Swift intentionally refrained from commenting on political matters throughout the early and dominant portions of her career. Nevertheless, this stance shifted in October 2018, when she voiced her opinion publicly for the first time to back two Democratic nominees in Tennessee.
In May 2020, Swift garnered attention once more when she criticized Donald amidst protests nationwide regarding the killing of George Floyd.
“Taylor believed it was imperative to speak against Trump and articulate her ethical principles,” an insider revealed to Us then. “She understands the immense influence of her platform and aimed to employ it for the benefit of all. She sought to denounce global disparities and champion marginalized communities.”

Conversely, Nicki Minaj is one artist who has no objection to the Trump administration utilizing her songs.
After the White House TikTok uploaded a video on Monday, November 3, featuring the “Beez In The Trap x What’s Up?” remix, Minaj, 42, is said to have remarked, “This is quite remarkable. I appreciate it.”
Swift has not yet publicly addressed the White House’s recent TikTok post, which incorporates music from her most recent record-setting album, The Life of a Showgirl.
