Whitney Leavitt and Conner Leavitt's Relationship Timeline From Mormon Mission to Dancing With the Stars

The journey of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personality Whitney Leavitt and her spouse, Conner Leavitt, has seen its share of triumphs and challenges.

Their initial encounter occurred in the early 2010s while Whitney was undertaking her Mormon mission in Georgia, which happened to be where Conner's family resided then.

“It’s purely [a] happenstance. Isn't that remarkable?” Whitney shared with Vulture in May 2025, mentioning that she was assigned to Conner’s household during her time in Georgia. “I recall being present in his residence.”

However, the two didn't immediately begin a romantic relationship. Whitney and Conner officially reconnected in 2015, both having committed to supporting their friends who were arranging a double date. Although their companions canceled, Whitney and Conner discovered an affinity between them.

Following a year of courtship, Whitney and Conner exchanged vows within a Mormon temple located in Provo, Utah.

Approximately six years thereafter, in 2022, Conner confessed his battle with a pornography addiction. Consequently, the couple departed Utah for a two-month period to rededicate themselves to their marital bond.

One year into their relationship, Whitney and Conner were wed.

“Beyond the typical bridal photo session,” Whitney posted on Instagram, showcasing a picture of them enjoying In-N-Out hamburgers while still in their wedding attire.

November 2019

In November, Whitney welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sedona.

December 2021

Soon after Whitney delivered her son Liam, he was admitted to the hospital for RSV during the nascent stages of her TikTok presence.

“The initial few days were frightening, yet he was improving. So I thought, let's create something enjoyable, and I filmed a video,” Whitney recounted on Mormon Wives, observing that her video, featuring her dancing, gained widespread attention for being perceived as insensitive. “Many believed I was exploiting my child's illness for fame or recognition.”

July 2022

Following the “soft-swinging controversy” on MomTok, Whitney and Conner relocated from Utah to Hawaii. The Leavitts, despite not being implicated in the swinging gatherings, actually made their move subsequent to Conner’s pornography addiction becoming public.

“[I] adore that man,” Whitney subsequently stated about Conner during a 2024 guest spot on “The Squeeze” podcast. “He grappled with a pornography addiction for a considerable duration, and that was, undeniably, profoundly challenging to conquer. I was entirely unaware it was happening. When you endure such a difficult experience and emerge on the other side, your bond is undeniably more robust than ever. While it's awful during, by gosh, I'm thankful for our current state.”

During Conner’s struggles with addiction, he maintained a covert profile on the dating application Tinder for communicating with other people. Consequently, fans also began to question Conner’s sexual orientation.

“Is it necessary for me to release a sex tape or something? Believe me, we are well. Everything is, truly, alright,” Whitney asserted on the “Off the Vine” podcast in October 2024, refuting the widespread gossip.

September 2024

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives debuted on Hulu, focusing on Whitney and Conner’s relocation back to Utah and her ongoing pregnancy with their third child. (Whitney notoriously informed her mother of her pregnancy by concealing a positive test within a cake.)

As the season concluded, Whitney made the decision to step away from MomTok. Nevertheless, she revised her stance during Mormon Wives season 2, which first aired in May 2025.

October 2024

Whitney delivered their third child, a son named Billy Gene.

“Our greatest joy stems from our family being complete,” she communicated to People in a declaration. “We have consistently desired three children, and we are thrilled that everyone is now with us.”

July 2025

At the Mormon Wives season 2 reunion, Conner candidly spoke about his history with Whitney supporting him, disclosing that he experienced childhood sexual abuse.

“Conner and I had discussed this previously, and I mentioned how sensitive this topic would be. I believe numerous individuals could identify with our narrative, and it might provide assistance to many,” Whitney shared with Vulture regarding her support for her husband. “Ultimately, I wished it to be Conner’s choice. I felt it was his account more so than mine, despite its impact on me.”

September 2025

Whitney secured a role on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, forming a partnership with professional dancer Mark Ballas. Throughout her dance preparations, Conner and their children have served as the primary supporters for “Team Whark It.”

“Through each movement, every practice session, and all my moments of vulnerability. I am grateful for you being my consistent beat, my sanctuary, and my most enthusiastic supporter,” Whitney posted on Instagram, dedicating the message to Conner. “This would be impossible without you. I always anticipate discovering the bouquet of flowers you meticulously choose for my trailer. I love you profoundly, Connie baby!”

October 2025

Whitney decided to pay tribute to Conner during her and Mark’s Dedication Night performance — a contemporary routine choreographed to Jamal Roberts’ track “Heal” — on DWTS. The rendition achieved an aggregate score of 33 points out of 40 from the panel of judges.
