Will Jason Kelce Go Shirtless at the Swift-Kelce Wedding?

Jason Kelce is known for his penchant for removing his shirt at significant events — and one such occasion could be the upcoming wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

“Honestly, the first time I encountered Taylor was at a Buffalo Bills game. I leaped from a private box. She’s invited us to subsequent gatherings!” Jason, 38, stated in an interview with the Wall Street Journal released on Monday, December 22. “We’ll have to see if the shirt remains on or off.”

Should Jason indeed forgo a shirt at his brother’s wedding, the retired Eagles center hinted that his wife, Kylie Kelce, would not be pleased.

“I suspect if my shirt is removed, Kylie will be quite unhappy about it,” he playfully remarked.

Regardless of whether he wears a shirt, Jason added that he’s delighted to welcome Swift, 36, into the Kelce family.

“I simply enjoy her being my brother’s soon-to-be spouse, and aunt to my children, and we strive to keep that relationship in its proper place,” he said.

According to Jason, Travis, 36, and Swift’s wedding wouldn’t be the first time he’s chosen a bold look for a celebratory occasion.

“I’ve matured considerably since getting married myself. In the early days, I attended a wedding wearing just a Target graphic tee,” he explained. “I’ve taken my shirts off at weddings.”

After revealing that this has happened on multiple occasions, Jason described his past as a somewhat disruptive guest.

“I’ve damaged things. I once dropped one of my friend’s bridesmaids onto her head,” he recalled. “Things have gone wrong at a few weddings. But somehow I keep getting invited to people’s weddings. I’m generally a good time.”

Jason noted that since he married Kylie, 33, he’s become “considerably more restrained” at events. (Jason and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 and have since welcomed four daughters: Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 9 months.)

Earlier this year, Travis Kelce proposed to Swift after two years of dating.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the couple wrote via a joint Instagram post in August alongside a series of photos from the proposal.

Following the engagement, Swift released her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. While promoting the record during an October appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Swift shared some details about her wedding planning process.

“I’m currently focused on the album, which is a significant undertaking. Then, I believe the wedding will follow in the planning sequence, but I’m really looking forward to it because I think the only stressful weddings are those with a limited guest list and people on the fence.” she said at the time. “I didn’t want to have a small celebration because I didn’t want to “evaluate or assess [her] relationship” with every potential guest.

Earlier this month, Jason admitted that he hasn’t received any further information from his brother regarding delivering a potential best man speech.

“Time will tell if there is one or anything similar,” Jason said during a December appearance on Good Morning America. “I’ve been given no specifics on that front, but however I’m involved, I’ll be happy to be. I’m simply happy for those two.”
