YouTube Creator Adam the Woo Dies at 51
Adam the Woo achieved recognition online documenting his life and adventures through YouTube prior to his passing at age 51.
The content creator was discovered deceased inside his residence in Celebration, Florida, on December 22, 2025, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Us Weekly. (TMZ was the first to report the news.)
A friend alerted the authorities after looking around the bedroom of the influencer, whose real name was David Adam Williams, and finding him lying unconscious.
“Deputies initially responded to the address at 12:24 p.m. [on Monday] for a welfare check. The residence was secured, and no contact was made with the adult male residing there,” the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office public information officer told Us.
The statement continued, “Deputies then returned to the location for an unattended death at 2:53 p.m. A friend had borrowed a ladder and peered into the third-story window to see a man on a bed that was still. Upon entering the residence with Fire Rescue, the man was reported deceased.”
No cause of death has been released at this time. A death investigation is underway.

Adam the Woo Was Born in Mississippi
Adam the Woo mentioned in a 2014 YouTube video posted by Kenny Johnson Documentaries that he was born on August 10, 1974, in Tupelo, Mississippi. In a 2021 YouTube video, his father, Jim, playfully remarked in the video that the sign welcoming visitors to Mississippi should read, “Birthplace of Adam the Woo.”
Adam the Woo Was an Older Brother to Sister Faith Murray
The creator paid tribute to his sister via Facebook in 2015 while sharing a throwback photo of him holding Murray as a baby. “Happy Birthday to my little sister,” he wrote at the time. “It’s hard to believe how quickly time passes.”
Five years later, Adam the Woo celebrated his sister’s wedding. “My little sister got married today,” he wrote via Facebook in 2020. “I am grateful I was able to be there to witness it and see her happiness.”
Adam the Woo Grew Up in a ‘Very Conservative’ Christian Family
Adam the Woo shared in his 2014 YouTube video that he was raised in a “very conservative” Christian home, noting that his dad was a minister and his mom was a preacher’s wife. He attended church every Sunday, every Sunday night, and Wednesday night Bible study. The influencer shared that he was homeschooled after 7th grade until 11th grade, earning his GED when he was 17.
“My entire social life was essentially me, myself, entertaining myself,” he said, noting that he had relocated to 13 different towns by the time he was 16 or 17 years old.
Adam the Woo Started His YouTube Channel in 2006
The creator began posting on YouTube more than a decade before his death. After initially launching his YouTube channel in 2006, he also created The Daily Woo in 2012.
Fox 4 reported that he went on to post a vlog every day for five years, while sharing videos visiting theme parks and events. His final episode of The Daily Woo was published on December 21, 2025 — one day before his death.
Adam the Woo Traveled to All 50 States
The influencer traveled to all 50 states before his death, sharing in November 2024 that he had achieved the milestone. “50th State Accomplished,” he wrote via Instagram at the time, alongside a photo of him on top of a snow-covered mountain.
