Zach Bryan Marries Samantha Leonard in Romantic Spanish Ceremony
Zach Bryan has officially confirmed his marriage to Samantha Leonard.
Bryan, 29, shared the news on Instagram Wednesday, December 31, and posted a black-and-white photograph of him carrying Leonard, 28, who was wearing a strapless white wedding gown with a delicate, feathery hem. The joyful couple exchanged smiles as Leonard held a glass of wine.
“Stronger than the rest,” he wrote in the caption, which also included a video of him performing the Bruce Springsteen track with the same name at their wedding reception.
Earlier that Wednesday, the country music star was seen holding Leonard in his arms after tying the knot in Spain, according to multiple news outlets. A video shared on Instagram showed the newlyweds laughing as they climbed into a convertible and drove off into the sunset.

The day before the ceremony, Bryan posted a picture of himself with his male friends, adding a caption referencing lyrics from the Black Eyes Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.” On December 29, Bryan released a clip of him playing a tender song on the guitar that appeared to allude to his upcoming wedding.
“I caused a woman to fall in love and made our young hearts ache,” he sang. “I’m heading to Spain on an airplane tonight.”
On Wednesday, Leonard posted a short video on her Instagram Stories showing her and Bryan disembarking from an airplane.
The couple initially connected in August. That October, Bryan publicly acknowledged his new love via Instagram, writing, “From wild adventures to all the difficulties, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie. To the only woman who can walk six miles in designer flats, skydive over the Alps and reel in a bigger fish than me all in the same day. Hope your day was as graceful as you are.”

Romance sparked between Bryan and Leonard just one year after his less-than-amicable separation from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, whom he dated from the summer of 2023 until the fall of 2024.
“Brianna and I [sic] have decided to go our separate ways and I respect and cherish her with all my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a long time and for that, I will always be grateful to her,” Bryan stated in a message in October 2024. “I’ve been going through a very challenging year personally and have struggled with some serious issues. I felt it would be best for both of us to move forward independently. I am not perfect and never will be.”
LaPaglia, 26, claimed that the breakup came as a surprise and accused Bryan of emotional mistreatment. (Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time. Bryan has not responded to the allegations.)
LaPaglia’s supporters have observed a striking resemblance between her and Leonard.
“The next question I consistently receive is [one] that I get a million times. ‘What do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking so much like you?’” LaPaglia said during an October episode of her “Plan Bri Uncut” podcast. “I believe that is a classic sign of narcissism, that’s what narcissists do. They simply find another version of you to be with.”
She continued, “People are asking me, ‘Are you disturbed? Are you angry? Are you flattered?’ I am flattered, to be honest. I dyed my hair so that people [would] stop sending me every single picture that he posts of her, and I blocked him. I don’t want to see this [and] I don’t want to participate in anything that he does.”
