ABG and Blue Sage Expand to Deliver Wetsuits and Accessories for Iconic Surf Brands
Authentic Brands Group (ABG) is significantly expanding its partnership with Blue Sage Accessories (BSA) to include the production of wetsuits for three of its leading brands: Roxy, Quiksilver, and Volcom. This expansion focuses on the U.S. market and builds upon an existing relationship, demonstrating ABG’s confidence in BSA’s manufacturing capabilities.
Beyond wetsuits – designed for men, women, and children – BSA will also broaden its production scope to encompass additional cold weather and fashion accessories for Quiksilver, RVCA, and Billabong, all within the U.S. This diversified product range aims to cater to a wider consumer base and capitalize on seasonal demands.
Consumers can expect to find these new wetsuit lines and expanded accessory collections available through both direct-to-consumer channels and at specialty retail locations starting in December. This dual distribution strategy allows ABG to reach customers through various preferred shopping methods.
David Brooks, EVP of action and outdoor sports & lifestyle at Authentic, emphasized the importance of wetsuits to the core identity of Roxy, Quiksilver, and Volcom. He stated that wetsuits are central to the brands’ history, representing performance, innovation, and a deep connection to the surfing lifestyle. Brooks highlighted BSA’s proven ability to deliver high-quality, innovative products that align with consumer expectations.
This announcement follows ABG’s recent appointment of Pattern Group as its global e-commerce marketplace accelerator and primary TikTok Shop partner, signaling a broader strategy to enhance its digital presence and drive sales through emerging platforms. This combined approach of strengthening product manufacturing and bolstering e-commerce capabilities positions ABG for continued growth in the action sports and lifestyle markets.
