Josh O’Connor Joins Dior as New Brand Ambassador

Dior has announced a new addition to its roster of brand ambassadors: acclaimed UK actor Josh O’Connor. He joins the luxury house’s growing team of style representatives, standing alongside football superstar Kylian Mbappé as a key face of the brand.

The Parisian fashion house expressed its enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that it is “delighted to welcome Josh O’Connor as the new ambassador for Jonathan Anderson’s collections.” This collaboration builds on an existing relationship, as O’Connor has been a frequent attendee at runway shows presented by J.W. Anderson, who was appointed Dior’s overall creative director in June 2025.

O’Connor rose to international prominence for his compelling portrayal of Prince Charles in the critically acclaimed series *The Crown*, a role for which he received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor. Since then, he has continued to impress audiences with diverse and lauded performances in film.

Notably, he recently starred in Luca Guadagnino’s *Challengers*, a dramatic exploration of competition and emotion in the world of tennis, where he showcased designs crafted by Anderson himself. O’Connor’s working relationship with Guadagnino extends beyond the film, as the pair also collaborated on an advertising campaign for Aston Martin, creating a visually striking short film set against the backdrop of Sicily.

Dior highlighted O’Connor’s unique appeal, describing him as embodying “a singular, sensitive, and undeniably modern expression of masculine elegance, perfectly in sync with the contemporary Dior style.” The house further noted the actor’s origins, mentioning he was raised in Cheltenham, England.
