Antler to Reclaim Regent Street with Landmark Flagship Store
Antler, the renowned British travel brand, is set to make a significant re-entry into the UK retail landscape with the opening of its first standalone flagship store on London’s prestigious Regent Street. Located at 100 Regent Street, the new establishment is slated to open in early 2026 and marks a pivotal moment for the brand, representing its first physical retail presence since its comprehensive "reimagination" in 2023.
This strategic move places Antler at the southern end of London's esteemed shopping district, aligning it with other iconic global British brands like Burberry and Mulberry. The selection of Regent Street underscores Antler's commitment to a premium retail positioning and signifies a major step in reinforcing its presence in its home market.
The decision to open a flagship store in central London follows a period of successful retail experimentation. Antler enjoyed a productive one-year residency on Spring Street in New York, which provided valuable insights into direct-to-consumer engagement. Closer to home, the brand also tested the waters with a popular pop-up store in Selfridges London last year, further building momentum for this significant launch.
Beyond being a standalone landmark, the Regent Street opening is also described as the "beginning of Antler’s wider retail investment strategy." The brand has ambitious plans to expand its physical footprint, with a goal to open at least three new stores across the UK and internationally over the next three years. This commitment strongly reflects Antler’s unwavering confidence in the enduring relevance of physical retail and its crucial role in fostering deeper customer connections as the brand continues its growth trajectory.
Spanning two floors and covering 2,400 square feet, the new London store is envisioned as a unique retail experience. It will be meticulously designed to bring Antler's refreshed brand identity to life in a physical setting, blending elements of heritage with a contemporary aesthetic. The interior will reflect Antler's long-standing legacy through a modern lens, utilizing materials chosen to complement the surrounding architecture and environment. This thoughtfully crafted space will allow customers to fully explore Antler's extensive range of luggage, bags, and accessories.
Kirsty Glenne, MD of Antler, expressed her enthusiasm for the new location, stating, "When we began the brand and business transformation journey three years ago, we couldn’t have envisioned a more fitting location. Regent Street’s global reputation and rich history make it the ideal setting for the next phase of our brand journey in our home market. It truly puts Antler back on the map in a significant way."
Laura Thursfield, Retail Leasing Director for Crown Estate, the property's owner and landlord, also commented on the development. She highlighted that "This new addition follows our recent acquisition of 100 Regent Street and will be integral to the delivery of our wider plans for Regent Street and St James's," underscoring the mutual strategic importance of Antler's arrival to the area's ongoing revitalization.
