Armani Unites Menswear and Womenswear on the Milan Runway
Emporio Armani is set to implement a significant change in its presentation strategy during Milan Fashion Week Women. The brand will begin showcasing its men's collections concurrently with its womenswear lines, a decision officially communicated by Giorgio Armani.
This strategic shift, which Giorgio Armani himself had been considering, will officially take effect with the Fall/Winter 2026-27 season. The move has been confirmed by board chairman Leo Dell'Orco and Silvana Armani, marking a new chapter for Emporio Armani. This evolution is intended to underscore the brand's role as a cohesive umbrella, fostering harmonious interchange and promoting a shared stylistic vision across its diverse offerings.
In related brand activities, EA7, Emporio Armani’s dynamic sporting incarnation and the official outfitter of Italy's Winter Olympics teams, will feature prominently during Milan Fashion Week Men. On Saturday, January 17, EA7 is scheduled to host a special event at the Emporio Armani store located at via Manzoni 31. This event will specifically focus on the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games, highlighting the brand's connection to high-performance sport.
The established runway show schedule for the broader Giorgio Armani brand remains otherwise unaffected. Giorgio Armani menswear is confirmed to close Milan Fashion Week Men on January 19, with its show taking place at via Borgonuovo 21. Additionally, the prestigious Giorgio Armani Privé haute couture shows will be staged as usual in January and July at the Palazzo Armani in Paris. Finally, the show for Giorgio Armani’s main women’s collection is confirmed on its scheduled slot within Milan Fashion Week Women.
