Artknit Studios Unveils First London Pop-Up in Chelsea
Premium Italian knitwear label Artknit Studios is marking a significant milestone in its European expansion with the opening of its first physical pop-up store. Located on upscale Draycott Avenue in London's Chelsea, this new venture aims to "invite a new audience to experience [its] signature approach to refined, sustainable luxury," according to the brand.
Artknit Studios has built its reputation on a steadfast "commitment to Italian craftsmanship and 100% natural materials." The brand describes its new London outpost as "a cosy enclave of Italian elegance where heritage craftsmanship meets timeless style," offering a tangible representation of its core values.
The interior design of the pop-up seamlessly "blends an understated storefront with warm, artisanal touches." Visitors will discover handcrafted furniture and tiles, meticulously sourced from Biella, the brand’s Italian home, alongside thoughtfully restored vintage pieces. The overall aesthetic is further enhanced by elements such as dark wood, elegant metal accents, soft textiles, and a calming, muted palette, all contributing to an "immersive, welcoming environment" that reflects Artknit Studios' sophisticated ethos.
For the autumn season, the store showcases a collection "centred on the versatility of wool," demonstrating the material's adaptability across a range of styles. The offer spans from "lightweight city essentials to structured winter tailoring," catering to diverse needs and preferences. Key highlights within the collection include exquisitely crafted fine-gauge sweaters, luxurious combed-wool polos, and versatile overshirts, complemented by sophisticated twill jackets and classic cardigans.
Alessandro Lovisetto, founder and CEO of Artknit Studios, expressed his enthusiasm for the new London location. "Following the success of [our] flagship stores in Milan, Rome, and Paris, [we're] excited to bring our philosophy of ‘less, but better’ to the British capital," he stated. Lovisetto further added, "London feels like [our] natural home… a city that values the same things we do: quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design," underscoring the synergy between the brand's philosophy and London's discerning market.
