Aspinal of London Sees Record Growth and Profitability in Latest Financial Year
Aspinal of London has reported a successful financial year, concluding at the end of March 2025, demonstrating significant growth in both sales and profitability. The company’s latest accounts reveal a positive trajectory, fueled by strategic investments and a growing brand presence.
Turnover for the year reached £45.24 million, a notable increase from the £38.56 million recorded in the previous year. This revenue growth translated into a higher gross profit of £27.45 million, up from £23.24 million. Consequently, adjusted EBITDA experienced a robust 15.1% rise, reaching £6.1 million.
While increased marketing expenditure, aimed at establishing a foothold in new international markets, impacted overall profit margins to some degree, the company still achieved substantial gains. Operating profit before non-recurring items climbed to £4.8 million, compared to £3.9 million the prior year. Including one-off items, operating profit surged to £8.54 million from £3.3 million, and profit before tax increased significantly to £7.148 million from £1.4 million.
The financial year culminated in a net profit of £6.355 million, a considerable improvement from the approximately £1 million reported in the previous period. These results underscore the effectiveness of Aspinal of London’s current strategies, particularly its focus on expanding e-commerce operations both within the UK and internationally.
Looking ahead to FY26, Aspinal of London intends to continue its current strategy, with ongoing investments planned for its supply chain, product development, merchandising, customer service, and digital marketing initiatives. The company is also closely monitoring the impact of US tariffs, a challenge affecting numerous UK businesses. Despite this external factor, Aspinal of London expresses confidence and optimism regarding its future outlook.
The brand’s heightened visibility over the past year is partly attributed to successful campaigns featuring the Spencer sisters, which have effectively drawn attention to Aspinal of London’s products and contributed to its growing brand recognition.
