B Logic Collection Redefines Denim Future With Sustainable Innovation
A landmark collaboration is set to redefine the future of denim, as Circulose, iTextiles, Labor Made, Neela, and The Lycra Company prepare to unveil a revolutionary centenary-inspired denim collection. This groundbreaking line reimagines classic denim through the crucial lens of sustainable fashion, marking a significant moment for the industry. The unveiling will take place at the prestigious Kingpins trade show in Amsterdam, scheduled for October 15 and 16, drawing attention from denim enthusiasts and sustainability advocates alike.
Dubbed "B-Logic," a name that elegantly translates to "be logical" in English, this innovative collection features nine distinct menswear and womenswear silhouettes. The entire line has been meticulously conceived and developed with an unwavering commitment to both sustainability and performance, from the initial fibre selection all the way through to the final finish. This holistic approach ensures that every aspect of the garment aligns with a forward-thinking, eco-conscious philosophy without compromising on quality or durability.
At the forefront of this material innovation is a strategic partnership between fibre specialist The Lycra Company and Circulose, a pioneering Swedish group renowned for its advanced recycling technologies. Circulose excels at transforming plant-based cellulosic textile waste into a pristine, new textile material. For the B-Logic collection, this regenerated material has been ingeniously paired with bio-derived Lycra EcoMade fibre, a testament to sustainable textile engineering. This combination not only minimizes environmental impact but also delivers performance attributes entirely comparable to conventional Lycra fibre, ensuring comfort, stretch, and longevity.
Further stages of this ambitious project involved a global collaboration of experts. Pakistani manufacturer Neela brought their extensive expertise to the table, skillfully weaving the innovative fabrics into robust and high-quality denim. Meanwhile, Japan’s Labor Made took the reins of creative direction, drawing profound inspiration from iconic denim pieces of 1929 and 1949. This unique fusion of historical aesthetics with contemporary sustainable practices results in a collection that is both timeless and forward-looking, bridging heritage with innovation.
Ensuring transparency and accountability, the vital process of impact measurement and optimization for the B-Logic collection was meticulously carried out by iTextiles. Their rigorous assessment underscores the project's dedication to quantifiable sustainability efforts. Attendees of Kingpins will have the exclusive opportunity to discover this visionary collection at Amsterdam’s Sugar Factory, a vibrant venue where the trade show will welcome approximately 100 international denim specialists, making it a pivotal event for the global denim community.
