Bleckmann’s Bscale Expands, Bringing Enterprise Logistics to UK and Netherlands
Fashion and lifestyle supply chain specialist Bleckmann is significantly expanding its ‘Bscale’ solution, bringing its innovative warehousing and fulfilment services to the UK and the Netherlands. This move represents a key step in the company’s continued growth strategy, designed to empower brands of all sizes with access to sophisticated logistics capabilities.
Bscale is a modular and easily integrated system, offering a ‘plug-and-play’ approach to warehousing and fulfilment. It’s specifically engineered to remove common obstacles faced by emerging fashion and lifestyle businesses when attempting to access enterprise-level logistics services. The core benefit lies in streamlining operations and providing a fast track to efficient order processing and delivery.
A major advantage of the Bscale system is the speed of implementation. Businesses can begin shipping products within weeks, a considerably shorter timeframe than traditional logistics setups. This is further supported by a distinctive ‘pay-as-you-grow’ pricing model, which minimizes initial investment by ensuring brands only pay for the services they actively utilize.
The success of Bscale has already been demonstrated through a successful pilot program at Bleckmann’s Belgian distribution centre. Starting with a single client, the program rapidly expanded to serve over 20 brands, proving the demand and effectiveness of the solution. The expansion into the UK and the Netherlands builds on this momentum, offering wider European reach.
According to Maxim Sion, Business Development Manager at Bleckmann, Bscale is uniquely positioned because it’s built with the needs of fashion entrepreneurs at its core. “We’ve carefully considered the challenges faced by start-up and scaling brands, particularly those currently handling logistics in-house or relying on generalized providers,” Sion explains. “Bscale provides access to the same high-level expertise, infrastructure, and technology enjoyed by major brands like Karl Lagerfeld, COS, and Gymshark, allowing companies to concentrate on brand building while we manage the complexities of logistics.”
