He stressed that as brands expand their offerings, they must meticulously maintain their authenticity. For Canali, this commitment is evident in the unwavering integrity of their garment construction, the careful selection of premium materials and fabrics, and their meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality across all new product lines.

Finally, Canali identified another crucial theme for contemporary luxury brands: the comprehensive experience offered to customers, extending far beyond the tangible product itself. To exemplify this, he shared details of Canali’s foray into luxury hospitality with the launch of "Locanda Canali" in July of the previous year – a sophisticated restaurant situated within Hong Kong's Harbour City Gateway Arcade. He reiterated that for such a project to succeed, it demands absolute coherence across every element, from the overarching concept and interior design to the authenticity of the ingredients and the meticulously crafted menu, which is overseen by an Italian chef based in Hong Kong who adeptly preserves the Italian character of the dishes while thoughtfully adapting them to local tastes.
