Carolina Herrera Fortifies Global Marketing with Key Leadership Hires
Carolina Herrera, the esteemed American luxury fashion house, recently announced a series of strategic new management appointments, signaling a fortified approach to its global marketing and communication efforts. These key hires and promotions are set to enhance the brand's presence across critical areas, including marketing, communications, and the increasingly vital domain of celebrity and influencer relations.
Leading the new wave of talent is Stephanie Ogden, who has been appointed to the role of Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Ogden brings a wealth of experience from the luxury fashion sector, having previously served in the same capacity at Tom Ford. Her distinguished career also includes a significant seven-year tenure at Versace, where she held various marketing management positions, underscoring her deep understanding of high-end brand development. Coinciding with this pivotal hire, Eduardo Lozano Lopez has been promoted internally to Director of Marketing and Communications, transitioning from a role within Carolina Herrera's parent company, Puig.
Further bolstering the brand's external engagement strategies, Nina Sisco has been named Director of Celebrity and Influencer Relations. Sisco joins Carolina Herrera from YSL, where she honed her expertise in cultivating high-profile relationships and navigating the dynamic landscape of celebrity endorsements and influencer partnerships. These appointments collectively reflect Carolina Herrera's commitment to strengthening its brand narrative and reach in a competitive global market.
The strategic leadership enhancements at Carolina Herrera arrive amid strong financial performance from its parent company, Puig. In its latest trading update for the quarter ending September, Puig reported impressive sales figures of 1.297 billion euros. This represented a robust 6.1% increase on a like-for-like basis and a 3.2% rise on a reported basis, demonstrating sustained growth across its diverse brand portfolio.
Marc Puig, the executive chairman of Puig, expressed confidence in the company's trajectory, highlighting a "strong third quarter supported by sustained growth across all business segments and by the strength" of its brands. Beyond Carolina Herrera, Puig’s extensive portfolio includes other luxury powerhouses such as Dries Van Noten, Rabanne, Nina Ricci, and Charlotte Tilbury. Looking ahead, Puig stated, "We face the Christmas campaign with full confidence, thanks to our strong execution capabilities, disciplined management and notable launches such as 'La Bomba' by Carolina Herrera."
Carolina Herrera itself has been active on the creative front, having showcased its much-anticipated Spring 2026 collection earlier in September. The collection, featuring the latest creations by the brand's acclaimed creative director, Wes Gordon, was unveiled in a captivating runway show staged in Madrid's iconic Plaza Mayor. This fusion of creative innovation and strategic business appointments positions Carolina Herrera for continued prominence in the global luxury fashion landscape.
