Columbia Renews Partnership with USA Curling and Unveils New Uniforms for 2026 Olympics
Columbia Sportswear has officially renewed its partnership with USA Curling, taking on the role of official uniform sponsor for the USA Curling National Team through the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. On Monday, Columbia unveiled the new uniform designs and fan gear collection. Under the agreement, Columbia will provide apparel for athletes and coaches across all categories, including the Men’s, Women's, Mixed Doubles, and Wheelchair National Teams. This marks a continued collaboration aimed at supporting the team on the international stage.
For the first time under this new agreement, Columbia will offer replica versions of the uniforms for fans to purchase. Joe Boyle, president of Columbia Sportswear, commented on the honor of outfitting the team for the Olympic stage, noting that Columbia teams have worked closely with USA Curling over several years to help propel them toward success. Boyle stated that the uniforms are a testament to the company's commitment to these ambassadors, expressing pride in supporting the athletes as they compete at the highest level.
The competition uniforms are designed to reflect both American heritage and the nation's natural landscapes. The dark jerseys feature eight cascading stars in red, white, and blue, carefully placed to symbolize the curling stones used during competition. Additionally, each jersey is adorned with at least 250 stars, a deliberate nod to the upcoming 250th anniversary of American independence.
In addition to the competition jerseys, pants, and hats, Columbia will supply village wear for the athletes, including USA-branded parkas. These parkas are insulated with Columbia’s Omni-Heat Infinity technology. The design of the parkas has been reimagined in a gold star pattern, selected specifically to honor the significance of the upcoming games.
The full USA 2026 fan collection, featuring a patriotic down jacket, fleece styles, short-sleeve T-shirts, beanies, and ball caps, is now available for purchase. Prices for the collection range from $40 to $300. Fans can currently find the collection on Columbia’s website and at select Dick’s Sporting Goods locations. The replica jerseys themselves are scheduled to launch online in January.
