Crew Clothing Opens First East Midlands Store at Derbion This December

Derbion, a premier retail and leisure destination in the East Midlands, has announced a significant new addition to its fashion portfolio with Crew Clothing set to open its first regional store. This marks a strategic expansion for the renowned fashion brand, further enriching Derbion's diverse offering and providing new shopping opportunities for customers in the East Midlands.

Scheduled to open its doors in December, the new Crew Clothing store will occupy a 1,200 sq ft standalone unit within Derbion. Carol Kane, Head of Retail North at Crew Clothing, expressed enthusiasm for the new location, stating, “In Derbion we have the perfect location to grow our footprint across the region. The store will open just in time for the festive season, and customers will be able to shop our new winter and Christmas collections in store from opening.” The timing is ideal for shoppers looking for quality apparel for the upcoming holiday period.

This opening at Derbion is part of a dynamic expansion strategy for Crew Clothing, capping off a busy year of growth for the brand. Recent store launches include locations in Brighton, Belfast, and Kingston-on-Thames, alongside new spaces in London’s Muswell Hill and Chiswick. With this consistent growth, Crew Clothing has now expanded its national presence to over 100 standalone stores, concessions, and outlets across the country, solidifying its position in the UK retail landscape.

Beth McDonald, Managing Director at Derbion, highlighted the strategic importance of Crew Clothing's arrival. The addition of Crew Clothing is the latest in a series of exciting developments for Derbion. It follows the recent announcement that retail giant Primark will be joining the centre in early 2027. Earlier this year, Derbion welcomed other prominent brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Seasalt, and Luke 1977. Furthermore, established retailers like Footlocker, Pandora, and Moss have demonstrated their commitment to Derbion through significant store upgrades, underscoring the centre's vibrant and evolving retail environment.
