Dior Appoints Asia Veteran to Lead North American Perfume Strategy
Parfums Christian Dior has announced the appointment of Olivier Teboul as its new President of Parfums Christian Dior North America, effective January 9th. This strategic move brings Teboul to the United States following a highly successful tenure in Asia.
Teboul’s arrival in North America follows nearly a decade of leadership in Japan, where he served as President and Representative Director of Dior Japan since 2016. During his time there, he was instrumental in elevating the brand’s position in the market, solidifying Parfums Christian Dior’s undisputed leadership. Dior specifically highlighted his contributions to the brand’s success in a recent release.
The luxury house lauded Teboul’s ability to implement innovative strategies, cultivate strong partnerships, and build a highly effective team. These accomplishments were key factors in transforming the business model in Japan and have earned him this recognition with a transfer to the crucial North American market. Dior emphasized the “invaluable contributions” and “outstanding work” he delivered in Japan.
Prior to joining Dior, Teboul established a strong foundation in the luxury sector. He is a 1996 graduate of HEC Paris, a leading international business school, and began his career with international marketing roles within L’Oréal’s luxury division. He subsequently progressed into international general management roles, gaining valuable experience in various Asian markets.
Teboul’s history with Parfums Christian Dior began in 2015 with an assignment at PCD North America in New York. This initial exposure to the North American market, combined with his proven track record in Japan, positions him well to lead the brand’s continued growth and success in the region. He held the position of President and Representative Director in Japan until December 2025.
