Fashion Week Fuel Up Sportswear Giants Serve Up Chic Cafes

London Fashion Week attendees seeking a refreshing break will be pleased to discover a range of new options for coffee, tea, sandwiches, and pastries, thanks to innovative pop-up initiatives from sportswear giants Lacoste and the collaborative efforts of Nike and British Vogue.

Leading the charge is Lacoste, which has launched "Le Lacoste Serve," a tennis-inspired pop-up café situated at Selfridges’ Duke Street Canopy. This unique establishment draws its aesthetic from the set design of Lacoste’s Autumn/Winter 2025 fashion show, which took place on centre court at Roland Garros in Paris. The exterior of the café’s van notably mimics the iconic red clay surface of the tennis courts, and patrons can also explore an accompanying Accessories Hall pop-up showcasing the brand’s new Lenglen bag.

To ensure a delectable culinary experience, Lacoste has partnered with Miel, a London-based, French-influenced independent bakery founded by French-trained pastry chef Shaheen Peerhabi. Miel is crafting a bespoke menu of food and beverages for the pop-up, which will be open to the public until September 21st.

Meanwhile, British Vogue and Nike are offering an immersive café experience at the Corner Shop on Arundel Street, conveniently located just a short walk from London Fashion Week's central hub at 180 Strand. Open from 10 am to 5 pm on September 20th and 21st, this pop-up features "The Nike Deli," taking over the Corner Shop’s counter to serve customisable breakfast bites, fresh pastries, all-day refreshments, and energy-boosting snacks.

Beyond the culinary delights, the British Vogue and Nike pop-up provides additional unique offerings, including artisanal ice cream from Soho’s beloved gelateria, Gelupo, and a charming floral pop-up where guests can purchase bouquets with bespoke wrapping. Adding a layer of wellness to the bustling fashion week schedule, "mindfulness moments" will be hosted hourly by Nike ambassadors. Guests are invited to participate in short breathwork or meditation sessions, designed to help them ground themselves and unwind amidst a busy weekend.
