Frasers Group Taps Tech Giant Jacky Wright to Boost AI Strategy
Frasers Group has announced the proposed appointment of renowned tech expert Jacky Wright to its board as a non-executive director. Her tenure is slated to begin on September 24, pending final board approval. This move is a significant step for Frasers Group as it aims to further strengthen its digital and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Wright arrives with a formidable reputation as a "globally recognised technology executive and advocate for inclusive innovation." Her extensive career spans over three decades, during which she has consistently led digital transformation initiatives across both the private and public sectors, bringing a wealth of experience and strategic insight to her new role.
Her distinguished career includes serving as the chief technology and platform officer at McKinsey & Company, where she was instrumental in steering the management consultancy’s technology strategy, driving its artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, and modernizing its technological infrastructure. Prior to this, Wright held the position of chief digital officer at tech giant Microsoft for over 10 years, playing a crucial role in its digital evolution.
Beyond her executive roles, Wright's influence extends to her service on multiple corporate and non-profit boards. She is also a dedicated mentor to emerging leaders and continues to significantly shape the future of technology through her unwavering commitment to ethical leadership, groundbreaking innovation, and a strong emphasis on equity within the tech industry.
Frasers Group's leadership has warmly welcomed her appointment.
