Givenchy Announces New CEO Amandine Ohayon as Luxury House Enters New Chapter

LVMH has announced the appointment of Amandine Ohayon as the new Chief Executive Officer of Givenchy, effective January 9th, 2026. This marks a significant leadership change for the iconic French Haute Couture Maison, signaling a new phase of growth and development.

Ohayon will succeed Alessandro Valenti, who has led Givenchy since July 2024, following the arrival of Sarah Burton as Creative Director. She will report directly to Pietro Beccari, Chairman & CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group and Chairman & CEO of Louis Vuitton, placing her within a key leadership structure at the luxury conglomerate.

Pietro Beccari expressed strong confidence in Ohayon’s abilities, highlighting her “unique ability to collaborate with the most creative talents, coupled with her inclusive leadership and retail expertise.” He believes she will be instrumental in accelerating Givenchy’s growth and building upon its established heritage.

Alessandro Valenti’s departure from Givenchy isn’t a complete exit from the LVMH family. He will transition to the role of Deputy Managing Director in charge of commercial activities at Christian Dior Couture, beginning January 12th, 2026. This move leverages his experience and expertise within the Group.

Sidney Toledano, the outgoing CEO of LVMH’s Fashion Group, commended Valenti’s work at Givenchy, noting his “exceptional determination and efficiency” in navigating a transitional period. Toledano emphasized that the company is now well-positioned for future expansion thanks to Valenti’s leadership.

In his new capacity at Christian Dior Couture, Valenti will report to Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, Deputy CEO, and will become a member of the executive committee. Angeloglou expressed confidence in Valenti’s ability to contribute significantly to the brand’s retail and digital performance, citing his vision and team engagement skills.
