Hackett London Races into Autumn/Winter 2025 with Sainz Duo
Hackett London, the distinguished British menswear brand, has once again looked to Spanish talent for its latest campaign. Following a successful initial collaboration earlier this year, the brand proudly reunites with two prominent figures from the world of motorsport: Carlos Sainz Sr and his son, Carlos Sainz Jr. This partnership marks the launch of Hackett London's Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign, signifying the second chapter in their joint narrative and reinforcing the brand's core commitment to seamlessly blending heritage with modernity through its iconic British style.
The new campaign, aptly titled "Tradition and Modernity: A Winter Together," masterfully captures the essence of familial bond and timeless elegance. It features the legendary Madrid-born rally driver, Carlos Sainz Sr, alongside his son, Carlos Sainz Jr, who currently showcases his skills as a Formula 1 driver for Williams Racing. The picturesque Oxfordshire countryside serves as the backdrop for the shoot, with its rich autumnal scenery providing a perfect setting. Against misty landscapes, manicured gardens, and grand stately homes where history naturally intertwines with nature, the campaign portrays authentic moments of camaraderie, from leisurely drives in classic cars to spirited competitions over a game of table football.
For the upcoming season, the Autumn/Winter 2025 capsule collection reimagines classic British style staples, infusing them with contemporary elements. Traditional fabrics such as tweed and tartan, alongside structured silhouettes, are thoughtfully combined with modern, functional materials to create pieces that are both elegant and practical. The collection's colour palette embraces warmth, featuring inviting tones like ivory, stone grey, and gold, beautifully balanced by deep blues and festive accents inspired by the "Twelve Days of Christmas." Intricate motifs, including Donegal, paisley, and birdseye, are prominently featured, complemented by traditional crafting techniques such as cable knitting, adding depth and character to each garment.
The comprehensive line offers a diverse selection of transitional pieces designed for versatility. These range from soft-to-the-touch brushed cotton jumpers to expertly tailored soft tailoring, all enriched with contemporary details. Innovative touches like detachable linings, flexible stretch fabrics, and distinctive internal finishes enhance comfort and functionality. Completing the offering is an array of sophisticated outerwear, including classic waxed jackets, stylish peacoats, versatile overshirts, and practical gilets, ensuring readiness for the colder months.
Hackett London's journey began in Chelsea in 1983, founded by Jeremy Hackett initially as a second-hand shop. Since then, the brand has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its presence to over 1,000 points of sale across the globe. Today, Hackett London is a proud part of the Spanish group AWWG, a major player in the fashion industry. AWWG's extensive portfolio also includes other renowned brands such as Pepe Jeans and Façonnable, and it holds the representation for agencies of international powerhouses like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Donna Karan, and Karl Lagerfeld in Spain and Portugal. Operating in 86 countries through an expansive network of over 3,500 stores, AWWG demonstrated robust financial performance in its 2023/24 financial year, reporting a turnover of €633 million and an EBITDA of €65.1 million.
