Hermès Opens First Arizona Boutique at Scottsdale Fashion Square

Hermès has significantly expanded its presence within the United States with the inauguration of its very first boutique in Arizona, located at the prestigious Scottsdale Fashion Square. This marks a notable milestone for the renowned French luxury house, solidifying its U.S. footprint as this new establishment represents its 42nd location across the country.

The design of this two-level store was masterfully crafted by the Paris-based architecture firm RDAI. Drawing profound inspiration from the unique landscape of the Sonoran Desert, the architectural vision seamlessly integrates natural textures, expansive light-filled spaces, and a soothing palette of pastel tones. This thoughtful blend creates an exceptionally welcoming environment, inviting visitors to explore and discover the house’s impressive sixteen métiers.

Upon approach, the boutique’s façade immediately captivates with ceramic tiles, meticulously crafted in Mexico, displaying delicate tones of muted sunlight reminiscent of desert cacti. Stepping inside, guests are guided through the different universes of Hermès by soft pastel shades and ochre-studded stone. The main floor thoughtfully presents collections ranging from exquisite silk accessories and captivating fragrances to sophisticated jewelry pieces.

Ascending to the mezzanine level, visitors discover an array of coveted items including leather goods, additional fine jewelry, and an exquisite selection of watches, all elegantly displayed within custom cherry wood cabinetry. Adjacent to these, the men’s ready-to-wear and footwear collections are thoughtfully presented against a backdrop of serene pale blue tones, creating a distinct and refined atmosphere.

The lower level is dedicated entirely to the women’s universe, designed as a luminous and inviting sanctuary. Here, curved walls, plush pastel carpets, and a spacious shoe salon combine to offer an environment bathed in natural sunlight. This area provides a serene and sophisticated setting for clients to explore the latest women's collections.

Further enhancing the store's sophisticated ambiance, the design is beautifully complemented by a carefully curated selection of artworks. These pieces are drawn from both the esteemed Émile Hermès collection and the contemporary Hermès Collection of Contemporary Photographs. Notable inclusions range from Xavier de Poret’s iconic À Propos de Bottes carré to Jane Evelyn Atwood’s striking black-and-white Horses series, adding a rich cultural and artistic dimension to the shopping experience.
