Holy Fashion Group Appoints Anke Ratzsch as New Windsor Managing Brand Director

The Holy Fashion Group continues to see significant leadership changes across its premium brands. Just three weeks after Mats Birk was introduced as the new CEO for Strellson, the executive reshuffle continues with a key appointment at Windsor. Jan Mangold is stepping down from his role at Windsor, and Anke Ratzsch will immediately take over as the new Managing Brand Director, marking a notable return to the brand.

Anke Ratzsch brings extensive experience in the premium and luxury fashion segments, both within and outside the Holy Fashion Group. Before this appointment, she successfully led womenswear at Joop!, another prominent brand within the group. This move signifies a homecoming for Ratzsch, as she previously headed womenswear at Windsor from 2015 to 2019. Her distinguished career also includes impactful roles at renowned fashion houses such as Hugo Boss and Akris. In her new capacity, Ratzsch will report directly to Marcel Braun, the CEO of the Holy Fashion Group, underscoring the strategic importance of this leadership transition.

Marcel Braun expressed strong confidence in Anke Ratzsch's ability to lead Windsor into its next phase. "For years, the Holy Fashion Group has had in Anke Ratzsch an extraordinary and inspiring personality who has made a significant contribution to the success of Joop! Women," Braun stated. He further emphasized her suitability for her new role, adding, "For Windsor, she is the ideal candidate to continue the brand’s successful course with continuity and a clear signature. With her deep understanding of the brand and its customers, she will drive Windsor forward," highlighting her proven track record and profound grasp of the brand’s identity and consumer base.

The departure of Jan Mangold marks the end of a successful tenure at Windsor. The Kreuzlingen-based company extended its heartfelt gratitude to Mangold, acknowledging his "many years of successful service" and expressing thanks for his "valuable work and his significant contribution to the brand’s successful development." Mangold joined Windsor in 2015 and leaves behind a legacy of strategic growth and strengthened brand positioning.

During his time at Windsor, Jan Mangold was widely recognized as a seasoned sales professional whose expertise proved instrumental in the brand's advancement. He played a crucial role in significantly strengthening Windsor's brand profile and solidifying its positioning within the top tier of the fashion market. Furthermore, Mangold was a key driver of the brand's internationalization efforts. His contributions bore tangible results, culminating in an impressive eight percent increase in sales for Windsor in 2024, following a series of strong preceding seasons.

These personnel changes within the Holy Fashion Group extend beyond Windsor, triggering a concurrent reorganization within Joop! womenswear. As part of this restructuring, the design, sales, and product management departments for Joop! womenswear will now report directly to Thorsten Stiebing, the Managing Brand Director. This adjustment aims to streamline operations and enhance strategic alignment within the brand's key creative and commercial areas, ensuring continued focus and direction.
