Jack & Jones Fuels Portuguese Expansion with New Northern Store

The Danish menswear brand Jack & Jones has significantly accelerated its presence in the Portuguese market, marking a pivotal shift from its previous multi-brand only distribution. After establishing its first standalone store in March 2024 at UBBO in Amadora, the brand swiftly followed with a second opening at Designer Outlet Algarve. Now, Jack & Jones solidifies its nationwide reach by debuting its third Portuguese store in Vila Nova de Gaia, strategically located within Arrábida Shopping. This latest expansion marks the brand's first foray into northern Portugal, underscoring its commitment to a broader consumer base.

This rapid retail network expansion is a direct reflection of Jack & Jones' ambitious growth strategy within Portugal, under the broader umbrella of the Bestseller group. The brand has set a clear target: to establish 10 dedicated outlets across the country by the first quarter of 2026. Diogo Bartolomeu, Bestseller's country manager in Portugal, emphasized the strategic intent behind this push, stating, "Jack & Jones' expansion in Portugal reflects our desire to be closer to our customers and to strengthen the brand's identity in a demanding market. The Danish fashion conglomerate outlined an ambitious plan to open 50 new stores across its diverse portfolio of brands in the Portuguese market over the subsequent three years. Furthermore, Bestseller introduced a new label, JJ Rebel, in September 2024, which immediately made an impact in Portugal by launching in more than 120 multi-brand points of sale, demonstrating the group's multifaceted approach to market saturation.
