Kiabi Unveils Vibrant New "Kolors" Concept and Home Decor at Revitalized Portuguese Flagship
Kiabi, the renowned French clothing brand celebrated for its affordable fashion across men, women, children, and plus sizes, is marking its 15th anniversary in Portugal with significant transformations. The brand has just unveiled a comprehensive refresh of its megastore located at the UBBO shopping resort in Amadora, Greater Lisbon, introducing a vibrant new store concept and an expanded product range that includes homeware.
The core of this renovation is the debut of Kiabi's "Kolors" store concept at UBBO, launched in conjunction with the brand’s milestone anniversary in Portugal. As its name suggests, this new retail identity places a strong emphasis on colour, aiming to create a more dynamic and engaging shopping environment. Beyond aesthetics, the refresh also introduces new exclusive lines, such as children’s footwear, and significantly expands the brand's offerings with the launch of its first dedicated in-store corner in Portugal, "Kiabi Home." According to Kiabi, this refreshed identity represents an evolution in their approach to the shopping experience, striving to make it more intuitive, lively, and enjoyable for customers.
The revitalised flagship store boasts a more open, intuitive, and welcoming design, specifically engineered to improve customer circulation, enhance the visibility of its extensive collections, and foster a more inspiring retail atmosphere. Furthermore, the renovation extends to practical elements such as the fitting rooms and checkouts, which have been completely modernised with the new "Kolors" look. Crucially, these areas now integrate advanced RFID technology, streamlining payment management for greater efficiency and security, ultimately leading to reduced waiting times and an improved overall customer journey.
A particularly notable addition is the physical "Kiabi Home" corner, a first for any Kiabi store in Portugal. This dedicated space offers a wide selection of home décor products and practical items, all designed to combine style, functionality, and the brand's hallmark affordability. Previously accessible only online, the introduction of a physical Kiabi Home section reinforces the brand's commitment to supporting families in their daily lives, providing "solutions that combine style, utility, and accessibility" within a convenient retail setting.
The strategic choice to first introduce this innovative store concept at UBBO in Amadora underscores Portugal's pivotal role as a strategic and pioneering market in Kiabi's global development and positioning strategy. Following its successful launch, this refreshed "Kolors" concept is slated for subsequent rollout to the remaining 12 Kiabi stores across Portugal, promising a consistent and enhanced shopping experience nationwide.
