Lone Design Club Partners with The Bicester Collection to Revolutionize Luxury Retail Access
Lone Design Club (LDC), renowned for its pioneering approach to securing premium retail locations, has announced a significant strategic partnership with The Bicester Collection. This collaboration is poised to mark a pivotal moment in the global luxury retail sector, leveraging LDC’s innovative 'retail innovator pioneering technology-enabled flexible retail' model to redefine access to exclusive shopping destinations.
The Bicester Collection, celebrated for its 11 luxury destination shopping villages across Europe and China, including iconic names like Bicester Village (UK), La Vallée Village (Paris), and La Roca Village (Barcelona), has chosen to integrate LDC’s 'Revolving Spaces' model. This flexible leasing concept has previously seen successful implementations with major UK landlords such as Hammerson, Landsec, and Ingka centres, proving its efficacy in adapting to evolving retail demands.
The groundbreaking initiative will commence at Kildare Village in Ireland, introducing a fresh paradigm for both emerging and established brands to immerse themselves in the high-end retail environment. This strategic move aims to diversify offerings and enhance the dynamic shopping experience for guests at one of Europe's most exclusive luxury destinations.
For its debut at Kildare Village, a 1,500 sqft unit has been thoughtfully subdivided into 10-15 premium micro-concessions. This innovative configuration provides an unparalleled opportunity for a diverse range of brands to book short-term, fully supported retail spaces, granting them direct access to a discerning luxury consumer base without the long-term commitments of traditional leases. Confirmed participating brands include Chelsea Peers, Ottoman Hands, Anne Louise Boutique, Strathberry, CurrentBody, and Paige, showcasing the appeal of this flexible model.
Rebecca Morter, founder and CEO of Lone Design Club, emphasized the gravity of this partnership: “The Bicester Collection doesn’t partner lightly; they've built their reputation on curating the world’s most desirable luxury brands and delivering exceptional experiences. For them to adopt our Revolving Spaces model signals that flexibility and technology aren’t just for the high street, they’re the future of premium retail. This partnership validates everything we’ve built and represents a huge step forward for the industry.”
Echoing this sentiment, Victor Biffi Rosano, business director for Kildare Village, commented on the forward-looking nature of the collaboration: “Partnering with Lone Design Club allows us to test new concepts, discover emerging brands, and enhance the experience for our guests. This is about the future of retail blending data, creativity, and flexibility to keep our destinations inspiring and relevant.” This alliance underscores a shared vision for an adaptive, engaging, and innovative luxury retail future.
