Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann has announced a significant new addition to its luxury retail landscape: the launch of Louis Vuitton's latest beauty offering. Under the department store's iconic dome, the house has debuted its first-ever dedicated corner for its new make-up line, titled La Beauté Louis Vuitton. The 40 square-meter space marks a major milestone for the luxury brand.

Louis Vuitton, part of the influential LVMH group, is recognized globally for its expertise in luxury leather goods, fashion, and fragrances. The brand selected Galeries Lafayette Haussmann as the exceptional venue for this launch, leveraging the department store's reputation as a crucial showcase for leading fashion houses. Owned by the family-run Galeries Lafayette Group, the location attracts millions of visitors annually, providing an ideal platform for Louis Vuitton's new beauty proposition.

The makeup collection itself is conceptualized as a new chapter in Louis Vuitton's "art of travel" narrative. The artistic direction for the collection was entrusted to Dame Pat McGrath, a leading figure in global make-up artistry. McGrath's vision frames beauty as a powerful tool for self-expression and an integral part of everyday life, guiding the development of the house's debut cosmetics line.

Located on the ground floor of Galeries Lafayette, the unique space reflects the brand's luxury codes in its design. It features an openwork metal structure adorned with the house's signature diamond motif. The atmosphere combines wood, woven leather, and champagne-coloured metal finishes, creating a distinctly luxurious environment. To enhance the customer journey, the corner includes a dedicated consultation area offering personalized advice and made-to-measure services.

The collection launches with three primary ranges: LV Rouge, offering 55 lipstick shades; LV Baume, with 10 shades; and LV Ombres, featuring eight eye palettes. Each product is formulated to ensure high performance and deliver a powerful sensory experience. An exclusive olfactory signature, created by Louis Vuitton Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, distinguishes the line. The refillable cases, designed by Konstantin Grcic, blend elegance and durability while echoing the house's historic codes. An exclusive lipstick trunk containing all available shades is also showcased within the new space.
