LVMH Announces Leadership Shakeup: Beccari to Lead Fashion Group as Toledano Transitions to Advisor

After more than three decades of distinguished service alongside Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of the LVMH Group, Sidney Toledano has announced his decision to step down from his executive responsibilities. Toledano's extensive tenure has been marked by significant contributions to the luxury conglomerate, having been a pivotal figure in its growth and success.

In a strategic move to shape the future leadership of its prestigious fashion division, LVMH has appointed Pietro Beccari as the successor to Sidney Toledano. Effective upon the transition, Beccari will assume the roles of Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group, thereby expanding his existing portfolio as Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton. This dual leadership position underscores LVMH's confidence in Beccari's proven track record and strategic acumen.

Further bolstering the group's executive structure, Damien Bertrand, who currently serves as Deputy CEO of Louis Vuitton, will join the esteemed LVMH Executive Committee. This promotion signifies Bertrand's growing influence and will see him play an even more integral role in supporting Beccari's leadership, particularly within Louis Vuitton.

Bernard Arnault expressed profound gratitude for Toledano's unwavering dedication, stating, "I would like to extend my warm thanks to Sidney Toledano, who has been by my side for more than 30 years and has always been there, in every circumstance, with determination, talent, and loyalty." Arnault further confirmed that Toledano's invaluable experience will not be lost to the group, as he will continue to serve as a special adviser.

Arnault also conveyed his enthusiasm for Pietro Beccari's expanded role, remarking, "After an intense decade leading Dior and Louis Vuitton, I am delighted that Pietro Beccari has agreed to bring his experience to the Maisons of LVMH Fashion Group as well. Pietro is a great leader and a unique talent with boundless energy. He knows how to surround himself with talented people and nurture them to secure the future of the Maisons." He added that Beccari's continued leadership at Louis Vuitton would be further strengthened by Damien Bertrand's significant contributions and new position on the Executive Committee.

These pivotal appointments are scheduled to become effective on January 1, 2026, following a carefully planned transition period. This ensures a seamless handover of responsibilities between Sidney Toledano and Pietro Beccari, allowing for continuity and strategic alignment within the LVMH Fashion Group.
