LVMH Shakes Up HR Leadership with Key Promotions and Strategic Growth Plans

LVMH, the global luxury goods conglomerate, has announced a series of key leadership changes within its human resources department, signaling a commitment to internal talent development and strategic growth. These promotions include the appointments of new leaders for LVMH Americas, Moët Hennessy, and the LVMH Fashion Group, all effective in early 2026.

Paula Fallowfield has been promoted to Chief People Officer for LVMH Americas, commencing her new role on April 1, 2026. Reporting directly to LVMH’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Maud Alvarez-Pereyre, Fallowfield will be based in New York and will collaborate closely with Michael Burke, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Americas, and local leaders. LVMH highlighted Fallowfield’s success in modernizing the HR function at Moët Hennessy, emphasizing her focus on fostering an inclusive culture and boosting employee engagement. Her career began at Harrods in 1995, followed by founding her own executive search firm, Fallow & Co., and subsequent HR roles at Burberry and Natura & Co. She joined LVMH in 2022 as HR EVP for its Wine and Spirits division, and also completed the Executive Compensation Committee Program at Harvard Business School.

Succeeding Fallowfield at Moët Hennessy as Chief Human Resources Officer is Claire de Coincy, starting on March 23, 2026. De Coincy will report to Jean-Jacques Guiony, President and CEO of the Wines and Spirits division. LVMH praised de Coincy’s achievements in developing people-centric organizations and fostering efficiency within the holding and other activities. The company anticipates she will further strengthen Moët Hennessy’s HR strategy, with a particular focus on talent development, diversity, and employee engagement. De Coincy’s career includes 15 years at L'Oréal, transitioning from marketing to human resources, and roles at Chloé before joining LVMH in 2023 as CHRO for LVMH holdings and other activities.

Anna Briem has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer for the LVMH Fashion Group, effective January 1, 2026, taking over from Vincent Coubard, who is retiring after a 30-year career with the group. Reporting to Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of the LVMH Fashion Group, Briem will leverage the group’s internal talent pool to accelerate the development of its maisons. LVMH noted her instrumental role in supporting the transformation of Céline, developing talent, and promoting a collaborative culture. Briem’s previous experience includes roles at The Walt Disney Company, BIC, PPR, L'Oréal, and Chloé.

Maud Alvarez-Pereyre expressed her delight at the promotions, emphasizing the executives’ embodiment of LVMH’s values and ambition. She stated her confidence in their ability to support talent growth, skill development, and collective performance. Alvarez-Pereyre also thanked Vincent Coubard for his significant contributions to LVMH, particularly within the Fashion Group, and wished him well in his retirement.
