Marc Cain Names Dr. Patric Spethmann CEO to Lead Future Strategy and Transition.

German womenswear brand Marc Cain has announced the appointment of Dr. Patric Spethmann as its new CEO. The company is preparing significantly in advance for the leadership transition, as Dr. Spethmann will officially take the reins of the business in June 2026. In his new role, he will oversee all operational areas of the company.

Marc Cain founder and owner Helmut Schlotterer will continue his involvement as chairman of the board. He outlined his intention to serve as a mentor, coach, and advisor to Dr. Spethmann during the transition period, ensuring a smooth leadership change and continuity for the business.

Dr. Spethmann joins Marc Cain from Marc O'Polo, where he recently held the position of COO. His expertise lies in optimizing internal processes, enhancing workflow efficiency, and structuring organizational systems—skills he cultivated during his tenure at his previous company.
