Moncler Unveils Casa Moncler A New Milanese Hub For Innovation And Collaboration
Moncler has officially inaugurated Casa Moncler, its expansive new headquarters situated in a dynamic Milanese district currently undergoing significant urban regeneration. This strategic move consolidates all of the brand’s Milan-based employees, previously dispersed across three separate locations, into a single, cohesive hub. The establishment of Casa Moncler marks a significant milestone, fostering a unified environment for over 700 colleagues.
Spanning an impressive total area of 77,000 square metres, the new headquarters is a monumental complex designed to inspire and facilitate innovation. Its core features include a prominent six-storey building, reaching a height of 32 metres, alongside a dedicated showroom for product showcases and a verdant green space, providing a refreshing environment for employees. This comprehensive layout ensures that every aspect of the brand's operations, from creative conceptualisation to executive decision-making, is housed under one roof.
Remo Ruffini, Moncler’s Chairman and CEO, articulated the profound vision behind this new establishment, stating, “Casa Moncler is not just a place—it’s the manifesto of who we are and what we strive to continue being.” He emphasized the intention to cultivate a space designed specifically to foster collaboration, dialogue, and creativity among colleagues. Ruffini’s ambition for Casa Moncler is for it to be a vibrant ecosystem where ideas can rapidly evolve, and where individual creativity and uniqueness are celebrated, contributing to a collective "greater" purpose, ultimately shaping the brand's future by giving "energy" a tangible form.
Located conveniently just off Viale Ortles, the building is meticulously designed to accommodate every stage of Moncler’s intricate creative process. From the initial phases of prototyping and meticulous pattern-making to the final design execution, the entire journey of product development unfolds within these walls. This integration ensures seamless communication and efficiency across all creative departments, reinforcing the brand's commitment to excellence and innovation.
The architectural genius behind Casa Moncler is attributed to ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Their design masterfully blends contemporary aesthetics with a profound respect for industrial heritage. The building features expansive large windows that not only flood the interiors with natural light but also symbolically connect the modern structure with its historic surroundings. Notably, elements of the site's industrial past, such as the building’s historic chimney, have been thoughtfully preserved and integrated, creating a distinctive architectural identity that is both forward-looking and deeply rooted in its context.
