N Brown Group Appoints Arfan Sabir to Lead Integrated Trading and Marketing
N Brown Group, a prominent fashion and lifestyle retail platform, has announced the appointment of Arfan Sabir as its new Trading and Marketing Director. This newly established position signifies a strategic move by the group to integrate two critical business functions, aiming for enhanced efficiency and accelerated growth in a competitive market.
In this pivotal role, Sabir is tasked with the crucial responsibility of uniting the brand's Trading and Marketing departments for the very first time. This integration is designed to foster a more cohesive and robust approach, ultimately sharpening the group's focus on commercial trading opportunities, significantly elevating the customer experience across all touchpoints, and driving substantial business expansion.
Sabir brings a wealth of experience to N Brown Group, boasting over 25 years in the industry. His extensive background is marked by a proven ability to transform and scale digital and omnichannel businesses, skillfully guiding traditional retail models through evolution into customer-centric, digitally-led, and high-growth operations. His impressive career includes senior e-commerce roles at renowned retailers such as Mothercare, Lego, and Dreams. Most recently, he served as Vice-President of E-Commerce for Avnet, a global electronics distributor.
Dene Jones, N Brown Retail CEO, who assumed his role earlier this year succeeding Sarah Welsh, commented on the significance of the appointment. He stated, “The creation of this role reflects our commitment to driving commercial excellence and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Arfan’s proven track record in omnichannel digital transformation and growth makes him the ideal person to lead this combined function.” Sabir himself added, “Bringing both elements together will ensure an even sharper focus on commercial trading opportunities, while delivering a cohesive and customer-focused approach that drives growth and strengthens the group’s market position.”
