Naos Taps Former Pierre Fabre Executive Frédéric Ennabli as New Chairman
Naos, the renowned dermo-cosmetics group and parent company of Bioderma, Institut Esthederm, and Etat Pur brands, has announced a significant leadership change with the appointment of Frédéric Ennabli as chairman of its management board. This strategic move is set to take effect on January 12, 2026, marking a pivotal moment for the group as it continues its trajectory of sustained development and ambitious growth targets.
Frédéric Ennabli brings over two decades of extensive experience as a seasoned business leader to his new role. Most recently, he has served as managing director of Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique, a division of the Pierre Fabre Group, since 2022. During his tenure at Pierre Fabre, he was credited with spearheading a profound transformation that revitalized momentum and enabled the company to reclaim market share within a fiercely competitive industry. He will officially step down from these duties before assuming his new responsibilities at Naos in early 2026.
His impressive career journey spans a diverse range of roles across both niche brands and major international corporations. Prior to his leadership at Pierre Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique, Ennabli held the position of managing director at YellowKorner from 2014 to 2021. Before that, he led The Body Shop as managing director between 2010 and 2013, and Club des Créateurs de Beauté from 2007 to 2010. Earlier in his professional life, he honed his skills at L’Oréal, where he notably headed the Swiss subsidiary, gaining valuable international market exposure.
Throughout his varied career, Frédéric Ennabli has cultivated a robust expertise in several critical areas essential for modern business success. His strengths lie in product innovation, a deep understanding of digital transformation, and the formulation of effective distribution strategies. This comprehensive skill set, combined with his proven ability to navigate and transform organizations, positions him as an ideal leader to guide Naos into its next phase of expansion.
This executive appointment comes at a particularly dynamic period for Naos. The group reported a robust revenue of €896 million in 2024 and has set an ambitious goal to surpass the €1 billion mark by 2026. Demonstrating consistent financial health and market penetration, Naos has achieved double-digit average annual growth over the past decade, underscoring its strong market position and consumer trust.
In parallel with its financial achievements, Naos is actively enhancing its operational capabilities. The group is expanding its industrial base in Aix-en-Provence and recently completed the acquisition of Probionat, a specialized supplier of natural cosmetics. This strategic acquisition is designed to internalize production capacity, thereby strengthening its supply chain and enabling Naos to more effectively meet the escalating global demand for its innovative dermo-cosmetic products.
To ensure a seamless transition and continued momentum, Jean-Noël Thorel, the visionary founder of Naos, has appointed Laurent Marteau to lead the group’s transitional management, effective September 1. While Marteau oversees day-to-day operations during this period, Thorel will maintain his active involvement and strategic guidance, continuing to serve as chairman of the group’s strategic orientation and supervisory committee.
Frédéric Ennabli's arrival is highly anticipated, with expectations that he will significantly leverage his extensive experience in international markets and his renowned ability to orchestrate organizational transformation. His leadership is expected to play a crucial role in accelerating Naos’s global reach and reinforcing its position as a leader in the dermo-cosmetics industry, building upon the strong foundation laid by its innovative brands and strategic expansions.
