New Balance Americas is undergoing a leadership change, as Senior Vice President Melissa Worth has announced her departure from the sportswear company. The news was shared via a LinkedIn post, though a successor has not yet been named.

Worth has been with New Balance for seven years, during which time she played a key role in the brand’s significant growth within the Americas region. Prior to her tenure at New Balance, she held senior positions at prominent U.S. fashion companies including Perry Ellis International and TJX, bringing a wealth of experience to her role.

In her LinkedIn post, Worth expressed deep gratitude for her time at New Balance, highlighting the accomplishments of her team. “I’m closing this chapter at New Balance with immense gratitude—for the journey, the growth, and most of all, the people who made it unforgettable,” she stated. She also expressed pride in the business they built together and the milestones achieved during her leadership.

While Worth’s future career plans remain undisclosed, her departure comes shortly after New Balance unveiled a high-profile partnership with Grammy-award-winning Spanish pop star Rosalía as its new global brand ambassador. This collaboration features a five-part cinematic campaign, beginning with Rosalía’s visit to New Balance headquarters in Boston and culminating in the reveal of a custom painting showcasing the New Balance x Rosalía logo.
