Nude Project opens Berlin store as European expansion accelerates
Nude Project, the Spanish urban fashion brand, is continuing its strategic European expansion, adding Germany to its growing list of international retail markets. On Friday, December 12, the brand inaugurated a new store on Alte Schönhauser Straße in Berlin. This opening marks Nude Project’s first permanent location in the German capital, following a successful pop-up experience in the city during the previous spring. With this recent addition, Nude Project now operates four international brick-and-mortar stores, complementing its existing retail footprint in Milan, Lisbon, and Amsterdam. The brand also recently explored further international growth by opening a temporary pop-up store in Miami in October, marking its initial venture into the US market.
In addition to its expanding international presence, Nude Project maintains a strong domestic network across Spain. The brand operates stores in major cities including Madrid, with locations on Calle Fuencarral and at La Roca Village outlet, as well as stores in Bilbao, Valencia, Ibiza, and Barcelona. Nude Project is headquartered in the Catalan capital, where it has recently strengthened its logistics operations through a new partnership with the specialized company Logisfashion to support its expanding commercial network.
Founded in 2019 by Bruno Casanovas and Alex Benlloch, Nude Project has rapidly emerged as a significant phenomenon among younger consumers. The brand has progressively expanded its product catalogue, which now includes both womenswear and menswear lines, alongside a variety of accessories. Collaborations play a central role in the brand's identity, highlighted by its recent unveiling of a new capsule collection with Playboy, marking their third joint launch. Nude Project has also demonstrated robust financial performance, reporting revenue of €26 million for the 2023 financial year, according to the most recent figures available.
