Nudie Jeans brings sustainable repairs for life to new Bristol store.

Swedish streetwear and denim brand Nudie Jeans has announced the opening of a new UK Repair Shop on Park Street in Bristol. The new store aims to bring the brand's "signature blend of denim, culture, and sustainability" to one of the city’s most iconic streets. Scheduled to open on Thursday, 11 December, the Bristol location will become the brand's third UK store, joining existing Nudie Jeans Repair Shops in London and Manchester.

Positioned as a community-driven space, the new Repair Shop is founded on Nudie Jeans’ reputation for circular design, transparency, and a long-term commitment to ethical practices. The brand emphasizes creating collections designed to last, made primarily with organic cotton, and supported by a commitment to repairs for life. This philosophy aims to challenge conventional fast fashion by maximizing garment longevity.

Central to Nudie Jeans’ circular model, the Repair Shop offers "free repairs for life on every pair, no matter when or where they were first purchased." This service encourages customers to return worn-in garments for repairs, keeping them in use for as long as possible. Additionally, the brand operates a Re-use program where customers can trade in used jeans for a discount on their next purchase. These traded-in jeans are then cleaned, restored, and resold. In 2024 alone, Nudie Jeans reformed more than 73,000 free repairs globally and extended the life of thousands of jeans through its Re-use initiative.

Co-founder and CEO Joakim Levin expressed enthusiasm for the new location, stating, “Every Nudie Jeans Repair Shop is built on the belief that tomorrow’s vintage is created in the choices we make today. Few cities understand that better than Bristol." He highlighted Park Street as the perfect setting for the brand's next UK chapter, noting its blend of "vintage shops, cafés, record stores, and students on the steep climb toward Clifton."
