Pacsun Debuts Curated Vintage Resale Shop to Meet Gen Z Demand

Pacsun has launched a curated resale shop, introducing "PS Vintage Powered by Springy." The new collection offers thousands of unique vintage pieces for men and women, available online now. An in-store rollout is planned for 15 Pacsun locations nationwide, scheduled to begin in January 2026.

The assortment was hand-selected through a collaboration between Pacsun and Springy, an established authority in online secondhand retail. Pacsun also incorporated direct input from Gen Z through its Youth Advisory Council. Richard Cox, chief merchandising officer of Pacsun, emphasized the motivation behind the launch: "Vintage shopping has become central to our community, and with this launch, we wanted to make that experience authentic and accessible." Cox further noted that the collection's curation aligns with strong consumer listening and reflects both the styles consumers love and the sustainability they value.

The collection features a variety of apparel, including graphic tees, hoodies, denim, and jackets. Each piece, sourced by Springy, is tagged by size, year, and category. Pacsun curated the lineup around brand themes such as fashion, art, culture, sports, and music. The women’s offering specifically targets the ongoing Y2K revival seen across TikTok, incorporating nostalgic labels, vintage music tees, and holiday-themed graphic sweatshirts.
