Pacsun Taps Middle East for Global Growth with Majid Al Futtaim Partnership
Pacsun is set to make a significant entry into the Middle East market, embarking on a new strategic partnership with Majid Al Futtaim. This collaboration represents a pivotal moment in the retailer's overarching global growth strategy, signaling a concerted effort to expand its international footprint.
Under the terms of the agreement, Majid Al Futtaim is committed to opening up to 20 Pacsun stores across key markets within the region over the next five years. These plans include the establishment of flagship locations in prominent cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The inaugural Pacsun store is anticipated to open its doors in early 2026 at the prestigious Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, complemented by robust regional e-commerce platforms and innovative experiential retail activations.
This strategic expansion marks Pacsun's first foray into the Middle East, a move designed to bolster the brand's presence in what it identifies as one of the world's most dynamic and youth-driven markets. Pacsun views the Middle East as a compelling opportunity, citing its rapidly evolving retail landscape, a strong consumer appetite for global brands, and a highly digitally engaged customer base as key drivers for this expansion.
Further demonstrating its commitment to the region and its emphasis on experiential engagement, Pacsun is currently in Abu Dhabi this week. There, the brand is hosting its first-ever global trackside activation with Formula 1, an initiative specifically designed to introduce an immersive and experiential retail concept to the Middle Eastern audience.
