The Mini Paul Smith Edition is set to make its global premiere at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo on Wednesday, showcasing "exclusive exterior colours, sophisticated accents and unexpected details."

The design of the new Mini Paul Smith Edition is meticulously detailed both inside and out. Beyond its historic and contemporary exterior colours, the interior boasts knitted surfaces on the dashboard and door panels. Paul Smith fabrics, featuring subtle tone-on-tone stripe patterns, serve as the inspiration for the distinctive structure of the dashboard. The Nightshade Blue sports seats are crafted from Vescin and incorporate knitted textile elements in the shoulder and headrest areas. Drawing inspiration from Paul Smith's iconic Signature Stripe, the decorative stitching on the steering wheel's textile band is rendered in bright, contrasting colours. The Mini logo, both at the front and rear, has been reimagined in a newly designed Black Blue, while Paul Smith's signature elegantly adorns the black horizontal handle strip at the rear. Furthermore, the design is peppered with other 'hidden' details that are intended to subtly surface and delight only under certain circumstances, adding an element of surprise and discovery for owners.
