The 102nd edition of Pitti Bimbo, the premier children's fashion and lifestyle trade show, is set to captivate industry professionals in Florence, Italy, from January 21 to 22. This upcoming event promises a dynamic showcase of innovation and creativity, featuring significant new collaborations and returning popular initiatives designed to shape the future of childrenswear.

Among the most anticipated highlights is a groundbreaking partnership with the Spanish brand Bobo Choses. Hailed by the Florentine fair's organisers as "the emblem of a new and multifaceted approach to childrenswear," Bobo Choses will curate a brand-new, yet-to-be-named area. This dedicated space will not only unveil new collections but also host exclusive events and presentations from participating brands. Confirmed names gracing this exciting new zone include Maison Mangostan, Mini Rondini, Piupiuchick, Tinycottons, The New Society, and True Artist, all set to contribute to a fresh perspective on children's style.

Following its successful debut last June, Piazza Pirouette is also making a highly anticipated return for the winter edition. Curated by the visionary Katie Kendrick, this project will undergo a magical transformation, evolving from a bustling summer market into an enchanting winter fairy tale. Attendees can discover new collections from beloved labels such as Goldie+Ace, Sticky Lemon, Stych, Paade Mode, Halcyon Nights, and Bundgaard. At the heart of the Piazza, an innovative new showcase will provide buyers with a curated selection of the latest finely crafted, ready-to-order products from brands including Blue Francis, MoiToiNous, and Forivor, among others.

Pitti Bimbo 102 will further enhance its offerings by hosting a new iteration of its successful collaboration with The Family Circle. This Hamburg-based marketplace, founded by Nadine Jung, is renowned for its meticulously curated selection of high-quality accessories and lifestyle items, adding another layer of diverse products for buyers to explore.

Antonio Cristaudo, Commercial Director of Pitti Immagine, shed light on the strategic preparations for the upcoming fair. He noted that the cross-functional Pitti Bimbo team embarked on an extensive European roadshow at the beginning of November, visiting key cities such as Naples, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, London, and Milan. This initiative, launched last spring, aims to foster open dialogue by bringing together Pitti Bimbo exhibitors, buyers, and journalists. Cristaudo affirmed that this format has been instrumental in creating ideal conditions for new relationships and gathering vital feedback, suggestions, and impressions. The show continues to receive strong support not only for its new ventures but also for the continued presence of established industry giants, including the Miniconf group (iDo, Ducati, Sarabanda, Minibanda, Roy Roger's), the Falc group (Falcotto, W6YZ, Naturino, Flower Mountain for Naturino), and the Artcraft International group (Canadian, Crocs, Heydude, Colors of California, Mou), alongside prestigious brands like Bugatti, Escada, and Aigner.
