Première Vision Paris Expands to Beauty Uniting Fashion and Cosmetics
Première Vision Paris is set to unveil an exciting new chapter at its upcoming edition, running from September 16 to 18. For the very first time, the renowned event will embrace the dynamic world of beauty, integrating it into its foundational inspirational approach and aligning it seamlessly with the seasonal trends on display. This marks an unprecedented evolution for the show, deliberately transcending traditional fashion boundaries to foster a rich dialogue with beauty, music, and a broader spectrum of related creative universes.
The organizer highlights this strategic shift, noting that their comprehensive portfolio of products and events can no longer be confined to a passive observer role. Instead, the ambition is to become a more 'inspirational' force, actively participating in a fashion ecosystem currently undergoing significant segmentation and profound transformation. Florence Rousson, Managing Director of GL Events’ Fashion division, articulates this vision: "We want to put color back at the center of the discussion and, via beauty, challenge the convergence of industries." She clarifies that while the intention is not to transform into a dedicated cosmetic show, there is potential to feature white-label brands, offering valuable resources to companies considering an expansion into the beauty market.
This edition anticipates a robust turnout of 1,000 exhibitors, with an impressive 12% of these being newcomers, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative offerings. The show's already extensive offering – encompassing fibers, yarns, fabrics, knits, leathers, designs, accessories, and finished products – will now be significantly enhanced by a dedicated cosmetic interpretation of the season. This integration ensures a holistic view of emerging trends, from material innovation to their ultimate aesthetic expression.
At the heart of this new initiative is 'Beauty Pathways,' a carefully curated series of proposals directly inspired by the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 trends. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a selection of exceptional student creations from the Make Up For Ever Academy, showcasing the future of makeup artistry. Global specialist Fiabila will also present its latest range of innovative nail polishes, providing insights into upcoming beauty directions. Furthermore, Robertet, a leading supplier of aromatics for the beauty, perfume, and food sectors, will engage visitors through its Villa Blu acceleration program, offering themed perfumes and cocktails that blend scent with sensory experiences.
The sensory journey extends beyond sight and smell, incorporating sound and performance. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Abondance collective, a group of talented DJs and contemporary artists, will offer unique musical interpretations of the season’s colors and materials, adding an auditory dimension to the trend exploration. Complementing these interactive experiences, a comprehensive series of conferences will be held throughout the three days of the show. These talks are specifically designed to bridge the gap between fashion trends and the beauty world, providing expert insights and fostering cross-industry discussion. In a new development, all of the show’s conferences, including these beauty-focused sessions, will be recorded for the first time and made available for replay on the Première Vision portal, ensuring wider accessibility to valuable content.
