Public Desire Steps Into New Era with Bold Rebrand for 10th Anniversary
Footwear label Public Desire has announced a comprehensive rebrand, coinciding with its 10-year anniversary. This significant overhaul is intended to signal a bold new chapter for the brand, reinforcing its position in the competitive fashion market.
The extensive makeover encompasses a fresh new logo, a redesigned website, an updated visual identity, and a refined tone of voice. These changes collectively aim to deliver an elevated aesthetic and a renewed focus on footwear innovation, pushing the brand's creative boundaries.
Public Desire, which proudly states it was "Born in the UK and worn worldwide," explains that the rebrand reflects its evolution into an elevated, fashion-first brand. This refreshed identity is built upon core values of confidence, creativity, and culture. It specifically celebrates modern femininity – bold, magnetic, and unapologetic – while steadfastly staying true to its accessible-luxury roots.
Emily Frazer, Public Desire’s marketing director, emphasized the strategic thinking behind the rebrand, stating, “Our rebrand reflects the woman we design for: confident, magnetic, and unapologetic. Every silhouette, stitch, and step is ‘Designed to Be Desired’.”
To support this momentous occasion, the brand has launched two distinct campaigns. The ‘Decade of Desire’ campaign takes a retrospective look at the brand’s first ten years, highlighting standout collections, memorable celebrity moments with global icons such as Beyoncé, Kylie Jenner, and Bella Hadid, and trend-defining designs that shaped its worldwide influence. It also revisits landmark collaborations, including those with Hailey Baldwin in 2016 and Alabama Barker in 2022, marking pivotal points in Public Desire’s journey from a breakout e-commerce success to a globally recognized name.
Conversely, the ‘Drive Your Desire’ campaign casts its gaze forward, introducing the brand’s next chapter. This fashion-first initiative celebrates confidence, energy, and self-expression, designed to propel Public Desire into a new era characterized by modern femininity and elevated design.
