PVH Taps Capri Holdings Veteran Patricia Gabriel to Lead Global Supply Chain

PVH Corp., the parent company behind iconic brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, announced a significant leadership change on Wednesday with the appointment of Patricia Gabriel as Chief Supply Chain Officer and Global Head of Operations. This strategic move is part of a broader leadership reshuffle within the New York-based fashion giant. Gabriel is set to assume her new responsibilities in the fourth quarter, reporting directly to Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp., from its New York City office.

In her new role, Patricia Gabriel will succeed David Savman, who will now transition his focus to his position as Global Brand President for Calvin Klein. Gabriel's comprehensive mandate will involve overseeing PVH's worldwide operations, spanning from product development to consumer delivery. She will collaborate closely with various brands, regions, and functional teams to enhance and drive the company's operational efficiency. Commenting on her appointment, Gabriel expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "In Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, PVH has two of the most iconic and globally beloved brands, and I’m incredibly excited to join at this important moment in the company’s growth journey. Operational excellence and supply chain optimization will be true competitive advantages that fuel growth and innovation."

Gabriel brings an extensive background to PVH, with over 25 years of experience in leading supply, manufacturing, and logistics across diverse global organizations. She joins PVH from Capri Holdings, where she most recently served as the Chief Supply Chain Officer, overseeing operations for luxury brands Michael Kors, Jimmy Choo, and Versace. Prior to her tenure at Capri, her career included significant roles at multinational corporations such as Mondelez International and AB InBev. Her expertise encompasses supply chain optimization, omnichannel fulfillment, and network design, honed through her work across Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia.

Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp., underscored the strategic importance of Gabriel's appointment. "Patricia is a consumer-focused supply chain and operations leader with a strong track record of fueling growth through consumer-centric operational excellence," Larsson stated. He added that as PVH executes its multi-year journey to elevate Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger into the world's most desirable lifestyle brands, Gabriel's profound expertise and proven ability to unlock value through demand- and data-driven solutions will create new opportunities, further accelerating progress on the company's PVH+ Plan.

This leadership enhancement comes as PVH reports strong financial performance in its most recent trading update. For the quarter ended August 3, Calvin Klein brand revenue saw a 5% increase from the previous year, reaching $980 million and surpassing estimates. Tommy Hilfiger also outperformed expectations, with revenue climbing 4% to $1.1 billion for the same period. Sales growth was notably robust in the Americas region, surging by 11%, while Europe, PVH’s largest market, recorded a 3% increase. The Asia Pacific region experienced a 1% decline in revenue, attributed by PVH to a challenging consumer environment, particularly in China.
