Rareism Lands in Hyderabad, Expanding its Fashion Footprint in India
Contemporary women’s fashion brand Rareism has expanded its retail presence in India with the opening of its fourth store in Hyderabad’s Gateway Mall on December 20th. This launch marks a significant step in the brand’s strategic growth within South India, building on its existing footprint and catering to a growing consumer base.
According to Abhishek Srivastava, Rareism’s Chief Brand Officer, Hyderabad was selected due to its strong market potential and enthusiastic reception from the local fashion community. He stated that the city represents a “high-growth market with exceptional consumer demand,” and Gateway Mall’s “premium footfall and affluent catchment” align perfectly with Rareism’s target customer. The expansion demonstrates the brand’s dedication to establishing a strong presence throughout South India and capitalizing on the region’s considerable opportunities.
The new 1,852 square foot store is designed with a minimalist and bright aesthetic, aiming to provide a calm and uncluttered shopping experience. This design philosophy prioritizes showcasing the garments effectively, allowing customers to fully appreciate the collection. The store will feature Rareism’s spring/summer 2026 collection upon opening, offering a range of styles for various occasions.
Rareism’s Hyderabad location will serve the needs of urban professionals, offering a diverse selection of day-to-night apparel for women. In addition to the core women’s collection, the store will also include a curated ‘Rare Ones’ section dedicated to boys’ clothing, ranging in size from ages four to 14. This complements the existing presence of The House of Rare’s menswear label, Rare Rabbit, already located within Gateway Mall, reinforcing the company’s multi-brand retail strategy.
With this latest opening, The House of Rare now operates a total of 46 stores across India. The Rareism brand, initially launched in Bengaluru in 2019, has experienced substantial growth, recently surpassing Rs 200 crore in revenue, highlighting its increasing popularity and market success.
