Revolve Group Surges on Strong Q3 Sales and Profitability Boost

Revolve Group has reported a robust third quarter, with sales reaching $295.6 million, marking a 4% increase year-over-year. The U.S. online fashion retailer demonstrated solid growth across all its operational channels, underlining a strong period of performance for the Los Angeles-based company.

Delving into platform specifics, Revolve's namesake platform saw sales climb 5% to $254.6 million during the three months ending September. Its sister platform, Fwrd, also contributed positively, lifting 3% to $41 million. This balanced growth across both key platforms highlights the company's diversified appeal and effective engagement with its customer base.

From a regional perspective, Revolve Group experienced growth both domestically and internationally. Total domestic sales for the quarter rose 4% to $231.4 million. Impressively, international sales outpaced domestic growth, increasing by 6% to reach $64.2 million, indicating expanding global reach and resonance for the brand.

Profitability saw a significant surge, with net income skyrocketing 97% to $21.2 million for the quarter. This notable increase includes a $4.5 million insurance recovery ($3.4 million net of taxes), as detailed in the company's latest earnings update. Beyond net income, the company also reported exceptional gross margin performance and a substantial boost in Adjusted EBITDA.

Co-founder and co-CEO, Mike Karanikolas, commented on the quarter's success, stating, "We had a very solid third quarter, highlighted by exceptional gross margin performance that drove an 11% increase in gross profit year-over-year and a 45% increase in Adjusted EBITDA to $25 million, our highest ever for a third quarter." He further emphasized the strategic advantage of their data-driven merchandising, noting a nearly 350 basis point increase in gross margin year-over-year, which positions the company to expand its gross margin and Adjusted EBITDA margin in the full year 2025 for the second consecutive year, even amidst the current tariff environment.

In addition to financial achievements, Revolve Group also continued to innovate its brand offerings. Last month, the company successfully launched "SRG," a new label meticulously created and designed by Sofia Richie Grainge. This collection embodies Sofia's distinctive aesthetic—a blend of polished sophistication with effortless style, timeless appeal with modern sensibilities—and is designed to offer consumers a thoughtfully curated wardrobe built on principles of quality and durability.
