Sara Foster Named Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Newest Global Ambassador
Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has officially announced the appointment of the multifaceted talent, Sara Foster, as its newest global ambassador. Foster, widely recognized as an actress, entrepreneur, and podcast host, steps into this significant role, marking a new chapter for the prestige beauty brand.
This month sees Foster's debut in her first Bobbi Brown campaign, aptly titled "Effortlessly Put-Together." The campaign is designed to showcase key products from the U.S. cosmetic brand's lineup, specifically highlighting the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick and the Skin Corrector Stick. According to a press release, the initiative aims to capture "Sara’s straightforward, no-fuss approach to beauty," aligning her personal style with the brand's philosophy.
The 44-year-old Sara Foster brings a diverse background to her new role. She is the daughter of acclaimed record producer David Foster and former model Rebecca Dyer. Her career path began in the modeling industry before she successfully transitioned into acting, accumulating a range of credits including roles in films such as "D.E.B.S.", "The Big Bounce", and "The Other End of the Line." Television audiences also know her from her recurring role as Jen Clark on the popular series "90210."
Beyond her acting career, Foster has established herself as a dynamic figure in business and media. She is the co-founder of the successful fashion brand Favorite Daughter, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit. Furthermore, she co-hosts "The World’s First Podcast" and serves as an executive producer for the Netflix series "Nobody Wants This," showcasing her versatility across different platforms.
Lahnie Strange, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. "Sara embodies the ease, humor, and authenticity that define Bobbi Brown. She has long been known for her quick wit and effortlessly polished sense of style," Strange stated. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, originally founded in 1991, was acquired by Estée Lauder in 1995. Strange further elaborated, "She’s achieved so much, yet approaches it all with humor and self-awareness, and that balance perfectly reflects how we see beauty at Bobbi Brown: confident, modern, and never overcomplicated."
The collaboration with Sara Foster is set to unfold across various platforms, encompassing social, digital, and retail channels. The brand has indicated that the partnership will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content and engage in "storytelling in Sara’s voice," promising an authentic and engaging experience for consumers.
This announcement follows another significant development earlier this month, where parent company Estée Lauder revealed the appointment of actor, producer, and author Nia Long as the first brand ambassador for the North America region for its namesake Estée Lauder brand, signaling a period of strategic ambassadorial expansion across its portfolio.
