Shoppe Object Unveils European Debut in Paris Through Strategic Partnership with WSN Group
Shoppe Object, a distinguished name in the design and lifestyle object exhibition space, has officially announced its European debut with a significant expansion into Paris. This strategic move is the result of a collaborative effort between WSN Group, a prominent French trade show organizer, and Andmore, one of the leading owners and operators of high-end exhibition venues and showrooms in the United States, marking a new chapter for the brand.
The first appearance of Shoppe Object in France will take place as a special guest at the Première Classe trade show, held from October 3 to 6, 2025, in the iconic Jardin des Tuileries. During this initial phase, the event will feature an exclusive object gallery and a dedicated Shoppe Object Café, offering a preview of its unique curation and aesthetic to the European market.
Following this introduction, Shoppe Object Paris is slated to host its inaugural full edition from January 17 to 19, 2026. This comprehensive event will be staged as a "show within a show" concept, integrated within the Who’s Next trade show at Porte de Versailles. Attendees can anticipate a contemporary scenography that will seamlessly blend a diverse array of categories, including tableware, furniture, fashion accessories, and decorative objects, showcasing the brand's signature curated selection. Launched in 2018, Shoppe Object has, until now, exclusively operated out of New York.
Jesse James, founder of Shoppe Object and Senior Vice-President of Creative, Experience and Innovation at Andmore, emphasized the core philosophy behind the brand. "The essence of Shoppe Object has always been to cultivate, develop, and celebrate a community of unique brands and designers from around the world, connecting them with the best distributors and buyers at the forefront of retail," James stated. He added that the collaboration with WSN Group is pivotal in extending this vision to new international markets while upholding the brand's fundamental DNA and shared passion for design.
For WSN Group, a subsidiary of the Comexposium Group, this launch significantly strengthens its strategic foothold in the burgeoning design and objects sector. The group has been actively expanding its presence in this area, having launched the Matter & Shape show in 2024, which forged connections between fashion, architecture, and design during Fashion Week. This was further followed by the introduction of Who’s Next Home in September of the same year, demonstrating a clear commitment to the lifestyle market.
Frédéric Maus, CEO of WSN Group, highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership. "With Shoppe Object, we are partnering with a leader who shares our values and our vision: bringing together international creative communities," Maus remarked. He further noted that working with Shoppe Object represents "a decisive step towards developing a distinctive editorial curation of the Home universe," indicating a responsive approach to evolving consumer expectations and retail environments for home accessories.
From Andmore's perspective, this international expansion, supported by Blackstone, enables the company to broaden its global market presence. Jonathan Pertchik, CEO of Andmore, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. "We are delighted to launch this strategic collaboration: it attests to Shoppe Object’s unique ability to foster innovation, anticipate trends and deliver the unexpected," Pertchik said. He concluded by stressing that the partnership with WSN Group, built on a foundation of shared vision, values, and objectives, promises a premium level of experience and numerous opportunities across the sectors they serve.
